It didn’t take long for it to happen; it was just a matter of time, and who. I knew that Bob O’Rouke — currently struggling for attention –would not hesitate to respond in the absurd to the tragic shooting in El Paso, Texas.
As reported by Fox News:
“Democratic presidential primary candidate Beto O’Rourke said on Sunday that President Trump’s harsh rhetoric toward immigrants and Latinos was in part to blame for Saturday’s mass shooting inside an El Paso, Texas, Walmart that left 20 people dead and scores more injured.
O’Rourke, a former Texas congressman whose district includes El Paso, said that he believes Trump is a white nationalist and likened the president’s language to that of Nazi Germanys’ “Third Reich.”
“Let’s be very clear about what is causing this and who the president is,” O’Rourke said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “He is an open avowed racist and encouraging more racism in this country.” “This cannot be open for debate and you, as well as I, have a responsibility to call that out to make sure the American people know what is being done in their name,” O’Rourke added. “He doesn’t even pretend to respect our differences or understand we are all created equal. He is saying some people are inherently defected.”
Funny, you have never heard O’Rouke say anything about Antifa‘s violence. Why did O’Rouke not condemn the violent acts against two ICE facilities in Colorado and Washington state just a few weekends ago? I must ask: since I stand for border security and against criminal illegal immigration, does that make me a Nazi? Does Bob align himself with Rashida Tlaib who feels that sanctions against Israel are like sanctioning Nazi Germany? There are many Latinos who want better border security, Bob, who do not embrace your unconstitutional open borders policy.
But, we all knew it was coming, the cherry-picking of a tragedy for political opportunity. When a far-left supporter shot up the GOP congressional baseball team practice, we hardly heard a peep about tone, rhetoric, and language from the progressive socialist left. We also have Mayor Pete Buttigieg weighing in on the Second Amendment, as if I, or any other law-abiding gun owner in America, should have our rights restricted when we have done nothing. I think Mayor Pete should find out who Stephen Willeford is.
Sadly, loved ones are never able to grieve because of the lack of dignity and respect of these low life politicians who will walk over anyone’s grave to get votes, and popularity.
How utterly disgusting.
